i don't get into political debates often. if you want to know where i stand on the issues and on the candidates - email me and i'll let you know. but, because you didn't ask - i'm not going to talk about it. even though, this IS my blog and you choose to come here ... anyway - i have a headache, so my tolerance is low tonight.
Just a short story ....
My sister .....

... yesterday.She drives a suburban with this 
... on the back.
... on the back.She parks her car and notices there is a man waiting for her to get her 3 kids out of the car. He waits for a while as she has to put shoes on the 2 year old .. get the girls back together and get everyone out of the car safely.
As she walks towards his open passenger window (b/c she had no other choice really of where to go ...) - here is the conversation that ensues.
Him: Are you really going to vote for Palin to be that close to the office of the President?
Her: (Snickering - wondering if he is kidding) Um ..... yes?
Him: Well, you are a ****ing idiot.
Her: dumbfounded - no response as he SPED off.
Not only is that the most absurd idiot alive. But, he made a choice to use the WORST 4 letter word in front of my 3 neices and nephew. These angels:

....So, tonight as we entered the same parking lot ... my little angel(clearing throat) ....
Starting crying and asking me if the mean man who yelled at "GaGa" was going to be here ... and where was he? and was he going to yell at us?
To which T replied .... "Annie, that man yelled at GaGa because she has a sticker on her car that says she is for John McCain".....
A.C.: Well, we are for McCain too aren't we?
T: Well, yes, but we don't have a sticker on our car.
A.C.: Well, Obama is not a nice man. And, people who like Obama are not nice..... mom, do you think Obama knows Jesus?

Me: Um, I'm not sure A.C. But we just have to pray ... really pray for him and for the election.
T: He doesn't.
And...... that's pretty much where it ended........

Are you kidding me? I CANNOT BELIEVE he said that...esp. in front of kids. What a shocker to know who he supports! I am afraid, too. I just keep reminding myself that God is sovereign and has a plan! Praise Him that our hope is in Jesus and not in anything or anyone in this world!

i am so sorry they had to incur the wrath of an insecure, close minded ding dong! and the democrats claim to be so open minded--doesn't sound like it to me.
this election is a crazy one. nathan and i keep reminding each other that we, thankfully, serve a God that is MUCH bigger than this election--or any one running in this election! xo
I can't believe it! And the fact that it happened to sweet Gretch! I'd like to see what happens when that idiot got a hold of her sisters-- one who is dieting and one who is hormonal! heehee:) I love you... be careful with those radicals over there in Peachtree Corners...
