we like to enjoy the occasional nice meal.
it's not too often, but it does happen....
one night we went with my sister and her hubs to "the Palm" for Lobster.
and that's delish -- but ...
recently....
i had a great meal ...
here.
yes - it's an old Exxon station.
here's the sign:
oh, i'm sorry ... did you miss that?
it's called "T-Rays"
they have the BEST burgers on Amelia Island.
i promise.
although there is not one single "auburn" thing in there .... and i intend to bring something orange the next time we go..
you may see some cut up onions in the refrigerator where normally the drinks are stored in a gas station.
you will find about 10 tables squeezed inside a SMALL filling station pay area.
and you might look in the corner and see a Croc. or a sock -- or a dog chew toy...
y'all think i'm kidding ... but i'm not.
here are the kids with "Big Ray"
.
this is proof that we ain't all high class -- i was just as full from T-Rays as I was from The Palm.
if you are heading down there ... let me know
I'll tell you where it is -- if you blink. You'll miss it.
